Alan was born in Connecticut. He has cerebral palsy (spastic quadriplegia). Alan is nonverbal and uses technology to communicate his thoughts. He depends on others to meet all of his physical needs. He moved back with Marian after living many years in a group home. He’s socially outgoing and very happy.
